Coin Storage

Most of my coins are silver, so I have chosen to store them in intercept containers. They are difficult to get into the inserts without some minimal handling. Do you guys think it would be ok to use powder less latex gloves? I only touch the edges, but I still want to take every precaution.
Or, is there an all together different manner of storage y'all might recommend?

If you're going to use latex gloves, then powderless is the way to go.
You may want to get some cotton gloves and try those also.
I think the intercept shield system is pretty good. I need to take the best of my stuff and store it better than I do currently. Airtites work well, too, from what I've heard.

I store my silver in airtites, then they become easier to handle. If you have to put a silver coin in an airtite, handle the coin with 100% cotton gloves so you won't leave fingerprints or other undesired stuff on the coin.
Problem that I have been finding is that so much silver, including the proofs have been handled incorrectly and have obvious fingerprints on them. I like buying silver coins in their factory original mylar holder or airtites (If sealed).
I hear one can dip their coins in acetone to get fingerprints off. Older fingerprints are more stubborn. The acetone itself will not harm silver, but how one dips it in and takes it out has a lot of room for something going wrong.....You would need special thongs that the acetone does not dissolve or harm the coin. Maybe the German coin supply manufacturer Lindner has a product for that.
