New collection I have started

Well, I have to admit it finally happened. I have been pulled over to the darkside. All of the beautiful coins that you people have been posting lately really pulled me in. My US type set that I have been working on really doesn't excite me like it used to. I plan to still upgrade/add to it here and there but I feel myself changing my focus. Since there are so many options in collecting darkside I have decided to focus on Silver Dollar/Crown sized coins 1900 forward. My only criteria will be they must be big, silver and high grade. This seems to be quite an extensive collection to work on. I will probably also add coins from the 1700s and 1800s as I see fit. I really like the idea of this collection because the large coins really show off the designs and a lot of the coins can be purchased fairly cheap.
The second part of this collection is my plan to create a website with photos of each of the coins and information about the coin such as: Dates minted, size, silver content, key dates and basically what I like about the design. I am sure there are other similar sites out there like this but I haven't found any yet to assist in my collection. Let me know if you know of any sites like this. I think it would be a good educational tool for someone working on a similar collection.
This will also force me to make some purchases that I have been needing for a while now. A Krause book and a digital camera. I will post here when I get the site up an running. I have a few coins already to get me started so I hope to have it up an running with the next few weeks.

The Coin Collection of Cosmicdebris
The British coins that meet your criteria are:
Crowns:
1902 crown
"Wreath" crowns of 1927-1934 and 1936 (all quite scarce if not rare except for 1927)
1935 "Rocking horse" crown
1937 crown
Some of the modern crowns are available as silver proofs.
There is also the Britannia £2 series, which you can get in BU from silvereaglecoins. The proofs are getting hard to come by.
I first started with English crowns, detailing royal portraits.
I then went with Latin American crowns; mostly late 19th century.
I have small collections of Dutch and non-Western crowns.
Here is a suggestion that provided a good guide for me, if you want a basic representative collection:
Your local bookstore may have the "Official Blackbook Price Guide to World Coins."
It would provide you with a comprehensive list of countries, at the least. I put together a collection of World Crowns, that way.
Finally, Krause, and I think some others, publish books on crown sized coins.

The Krause book I picked up is called Collection World Coins - 1901 - Present. What is the difference between this book and the Standard Catalog of world coins other than the price? Looks like this book will meet my needs.
"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." -Luke 11:9
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might." -Deut. 6:4-5
"For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; He will save us." -Isaiah 33:22
