Is there a book about world coins older than 1900?

My grandma has a bunch of German coins that were her grandfather's. Mostly in the 1800's. Is there a book i can look them up in?

yes, there is.

1801--1900
1701--1800
1601--1700

Used catalogs in nearly new condition can also often be found on half.com and ebay.com.

Most libraries will not let you check them out as they are in the reference section. So, take the coins with you.

But watch out for the bums!!

I didn't know at first if you were looking for books printed before 1900 or books that cover coins minted before 1900, in either event the answer is yes.

Spinaker and most of the rest of us have to use the books to find the prices, but tbirde is like an online price guide!!
