Has anyone ever got this email from ebay? is it a scam?

Scam. I've gotten it and almost fell for it. Thank God for this forum. Report it to ebay ASAP.

I got that same email today as well...I think that if you look at the header, I remember the wording being off...using of a past tense when it should have been present tense.

Any emails I receive from PAYPAL or Ebay ... Before I do anything... I always email them to Spoof@paypal.com and Spoof@ebay.com

If it's a spam email... You will get a reply within mins. from paypal or ebay saying it did not come from them. If you ever get an email with a link in it! It's a spam and do not click on the link.

You don't need to go any further than "Dear eBay User". If eBay were to send you an email, it would address you by name or username.
