NEWP from coin show ... Part III ... I don't collect medals, but this one ...

Well, it really grabbed my attention. It measures about 32 mm (not huge by any means) but the detail is incredible. It's Swiss, silver, and is dated 1892 and has a wonderful view of the Alps on the obverse and, below, are the arms of Chur in Graubunden. The reverse has both the German and Austrian arms, and this commemorates the opening of the Suldner Road in the Alps.

Initials are P.W. P. with that extra "space" between the last two letters.
