Think these are real?

Just curious, they look pretty good to me, if you don't think they are real, I'm curious to know why.

    How did they do on the light test?

  • LOL... 23 Feedbacks, feedbacks are for .50 - .75 Cents, international seller and wouldn't you know no PAYPAL! LOL;

    He does let you know it only takes two US stamps to mail to Canada. Yea right, someone going to spend $2,600 and mail a money order by regular mail and not register.

    Do buyers really fall for this stuff????
  • If they are in fact fake and it's a case of someone who just does not know how to sell something ebay...I have to say, it's first time I've seen where a T-206 fake has the font correct on the front of the card! That alone impresses me!
  • This seller has multiple ebay accounts and different location addresses.One of his other auctions were for two 1948 leaf satchel paige rookies,he graded them NMT & EX both had snow white borders and were clearly fakes.The reason I know this is the same guy he uses the same phrases every auction it only takes two stamps to get payment to me,and every card is rare and raw form. Stay away from this guy or you will lose your shirt.

    Loki-
    Let's say they are real. Does that mean he actually has the cards (or could be stolen scans?)? Also, even if he does have the cards does that mean he will mail it to you after you pay? I think you would be a HUGE risk taker to buy cards like this from a seller like this... real or fake isn't the question in my mind.

    They are obvious fakes. Once you've seen enough, you can tell with just a quick glance, something is wrong with the font.

    He has three sales in his history ... all three to the same buyer, all three sold March 31 with a Buy It Now for 45 cents, 75 cents and $1.10. Two days later, the "buyer" has received his cards and left feedback already? These "sales," even if real, were recorded simply to create some positive feedback for the main performance.

    So, no, I'm not real confident that these extremely valuable treasures are legitimate. They are nice-looking reprints, though.
  • I had no plans on buying at all...just noticed the location was within the same province as me, and i really didn't believe those cards were anywhere near me.
