Nickels from the mint arrived today!

The out side coins are pretty messed up....dunno what the inside coins look like though.
Doesn't matter though..Just happy to have a couple of rolls

I opened up a P and a D roll and the quality doesn't get any better than what you see in the coins on the end

I read on antoher thread where someone had spoken to someone at the Mint, who said they thought the Nickels will be sold out within a month. Does anyone believe that?

I just checked the mint web page last night and they are still for sale. Dunno anything about sold out yet.

I didnt say the were sold out......Someone from the board said they spoke to someone at the Mint who said they will be sold out WITHIN the month...Just wondering what others thought

I mean I wouldnt take what the fella said as gospel, but I imagine they will sell out at some point.....the real question is will they be like the Peace Medal Nickels that have seen two dramatic jumps, or like the Keelboats, that can still be had for a few dollars above issue.....

Recieved my rolls the other day, opened one and the quality was not there. I opened the rest, and was a little disapointed, alot and I mean alot of nicks on all coins P and D mints, the denver mint coins were a little better but not much...

I'm curious Purple73. What was the date you ordered your rolls? I placed several orders starting on March 3rd but they are still back ordered. I noticed that my order numbers are over 300,000 orders apart (representing the 13 days I waited before placing another order on March 16th . At this rate they will sell out soon. Ii am wondering now if I will get my orders.

I got my bags yesterday........ So far, I've gone thru 1000 D's and culled them down to ONE single best coin in the lot....... I'm thinking it'll go 67 with a shot at 68......... Wonder if it's even worth sending in !!!!! Tomorrow I start on the P's !!!!!!!
