Kennedy Proof Pics - I may have achieved Black & White

A little while back I posted that I had been able to achieve almost Russ/Mad Marty like pictures of Proofs using a plastic glass and natural light and a cheap digital camera. Only I couldn't get rid of the reflections from my camera and hand in the mirrors. Well, this week I went all out and bought some hi tech equipment and was finally able to achieve black and white. Attached are some pics of a 65 Kennedy along with another pic showing my high tech equipment. Let me know what you think. Am I getting closer? Thanks

and this is a good one for one that has some color to it
Next step is to up the lighting and use the black shaded camera sheild device you are using !
did you get that at the local camera store ?
DHeath, your pic is very nice too, but I can see the reflection of the camera in it. I think your idea of deliberately having a reflection of something in the mirrors has merit though. I remember seeing some unusual pictures one time where someone had words from a book and also pictures being reflected to show how deep the mirrors are. I bet a dual set of pictures, one black and white to show the contrast and another with something reflected to show the depth of the mirrors would totally "reflect" the true total image of the coin.
100Proof57, Yeah, I'll have to figure something out to make the light more even all around so that the white frost shows better. I'm thinking of using the mirror that I took the picture of the camera shield device in. I never got around to putting it on the back of the set of drawers it came with, so I was thinking of putting it across from the window with the plastic glass in between so that the light will come from both sides simultaneously. Or maybe something hi-tech like a reflector made out of aluminum foil on one side of the plastic glass . Ummm, regarding where I purchased the camera shield device, it actually comes in a kit that I am thinking of marketing on ebay (shh, don't tell anyone but the kit actually consists of a cardboard square and a black magic marker) .
To Russ and everyone else, thanks for the encouraging words
Dont get me wrong, you took some nice pix !
I cant get em that nice yet !
