NNC?

Has anyone had any dealings with coins certified by "National Numismatic Certification"? Anyone have any info on them or how they grade? Thanks

I have noticed the sellers centsles and ingot have been pushing these the last couple of months. I emailed centsles awhile back and inquired about NNC. They replied the company has been around for 8 years, used to be in Michigan, and recently moved to Florida. They said the grading is similar to NTC, PCI and SEGS. My interpitation of this is these are coins that could not get into real holders.

I tried to find them on their web site but all it basically said was that they were "moving" and were not currently accepting submissions. I wonder if this is just temporary or are they gone for good?
It seems that when a coin is graded by NNC, or by these other lower tier TPG's, they sell for 1-2 grade values below what they are graded. If so, it seems that the submitter would be better off submitting to a better TPG if they believed the coin would be graded. Or do you think that the submitters believe that their method is sufficiently economincal and efficient so that the grades they recieve will bring sufficient bids? Any thoughts?

Might be like the MS70 2005 silver eagle I got. Certified by PCC, that has 2 scratches I can see. They could be on the holder but I don't think so.

The man may have been in business for 8 years, but the grading service has only been around for about 2 years.
