This reminds me of when I used to live in Las Vegas a guy I did work for built a geodesic dome house in Henderson. He did all the trim with coins he had acquired while working in coin rooms from the late 50's to late 70's. Main floor was done in pennies and nickels done in patterns by glueing them to a backing and attaching to walls. Kitchen in dimes and half dollars, staircases in dimes and quarters. But the worse was upstairs bedrooms were done in Morgan and Peace dollars glued to walls like wallpaper. To keep this on topic he had toilet seats custom made just like the ones being shown but they contained Morgan, Peace, Trade, and the like dollars. I now cry thinking about that house.

Thanks, I'm trying to find some brackets to display it in my computer room/office. I don't want to use it as a toilet seat..just a greta conversation piece.. for those of you who don't know this was given to a retiring congressman by his staff. i got it from his wife.. he died a year or 2 ago.. she sent me a note saying he served from 1955-1974..Name was Frank Clark.. alos said he was a associate of jack kennedy and Lyndon Johnson...

I purchased this seat from an estate sale a few years ago. It was part of a large original horde of toilet seats that I will be listing in the next few days/weeks. I am not a collector, so I don't know much about grading acrylic. Look at the photos to judge for yourself. Looks comfortable to me. Beautiful original surfaces, never been cleaned, golden yellow toning. Free coins included. So beautiful you'll never want to sit on this investment.
