Was it from a black case? The 1972s toned up the nicest of all the dates.

When did the US allow Canada to start making their own coins?

All bodacious lookin' pieces! (Marty's, ajaan's, AND WL's!) image

I never noticed that 1976 design before. With the halo of toning around it on WhiteLighnin's coin, it looks like a mystical ice palace or somethin'.

Oh- Marty- I have a Cook Islands dollar that's purtier than any of yours.

(Maybe 'cause it's got little sparkly jewels in it instead of genitalia.) image

That '76 design is new to me also. Going to have to find a nice one for my architecture collection!

It surprises me about the 1976 Dollar. These coins came encapsulated, where as the 1971, '72, and '73 have the foam touching the coins.

I have the Garfield coin too,it's wonderful .Along with the Simpsons coin (and a motorbike coin, perhaps left from a set) they're the only NCLTs I got. All from dangNCLTen I think.

    There, semi-hijacked. image
