Many of the Chinese fake Peace Dollars have missing detail similar to the detail missing on the leg on this coin. Having said that, I don't really know what to specifically look for. Everything equal, I'd want to satisfy myself that its not a fake.

That's a common feature for 1874-CC's. I've seen plenty of this date just like it - notice also that the straw has an area without definition. I believe either this particular die wasn't brought up fully, or it was lapped severely - which reduced the low relief details.

I bought 2 coins from a forum member peackockcoins, this is the item number 3959889471, I can't get it to come up on my computer and it's gone from my ebay page, strange.

they were advertised as fakes, paid $43 for a fake 1921 morgan and the trade dollar, here is the morgan

The peace dollar is obvious, but they are getting really good at fake trade dollars. The only questionable thing visible about that CC is the rims look a bit mushy around some of the denticles ... and the color is a bit off which can be attributed to the photo.
