<< <i>how about vam 201 11/1 35 obverse and c1a reverse - Missing nostril,doubled cotton leaves and legend letters >>
I see the missing nostril and the doubled cotton leaves all stars on left are doubled the first star on the right is doubled i do not see the letters Doubled the Bottom serif onf the n in unum is broken the top left of the M in unum is Cracked Maybe it is a early die state of Vam 200 or 201

There is a revised description for VAM-201 that includes the missing nostril at the Ashmore website in the text updates. This is what I think this coin is at this point in time.

The R-6's Dont usually Dont make the Top 100 or Hot 50 because of the rarity factor..
It is A PCGS ms63
like I said before nice coin looks better than 63 IMHO

As far as I can tell, it's a VAM201.
The Obverse appears to be a II/I and the reverse a C1a. The VAM-200 has a VAM Encyclopedia description indicates the N and M are broken like the I25 Obverse (see the picture of the VAM-145 photo on page 157). Your N and M are intact.
This leaves only the VAM201 left of the remaining coins with the C1a reverse.
Since you indicated it doesn't quite fit either description and the Rarity factor is R6 Very Rare (Several Hundred) pg viii, you may need to bring the differences up to the "Higher Powers" for analysis and verification.
Since there are relatively few of these coins, your variation may not have yet been seen for attribution or may be some sort of "missing link". I'm sorry I can't help any further but on the other hand----YOU HAVE A REALLY GREAT COIN!!
