Just REsubscribed to Coin World and got my first issue after 4 years......

and it seems like there are ALOT more advertisements in it and less articles than I remember from before.

I'm glad I resubscribed, but I'm kinda disappointed as the solicitation seems the predominant feature of the paper now.

Anyone else notice this, or is it just meimage

  • Yes, I noticed it and a lot of it is for bulk and stuff that probably wouldn't certify. It seems like you have to turn several pages to get to any meat of the magazine. It's still well worth the money I believe and I like the monthly trends you get but I miss some of the in depth articles of the more obsolete coins.image
  • I just subscribed to CoinWorld last month, after many weeks of getting it at Barnes and Noble
The ads, though plentiful, still give me a good going rate of how other coins are being marketed, and if read carefully, can give some good information ...

I just resubscribed after a year of not getting CW, only to remember why I discontinued it in the first place. With all that advertisement they should give it away for free or at a nominal rate. The news content is only at most 2 or 3 articles. Whats news worthy could fit on 3 or 4 pages.imageimageimageimageimageimage
