I love the Darkside

Here is a coin I just got off ebay for $86.00 . It has a mintage of almost half of what a 1911D 2 1/2 Indian U.S. ( A coin of about the same size) which in this condition is selling for $45,000 or more.image

1909 DENMARK 10 KRONER HEART MINT WEIGHS: 4.4803 GRAMS OF 0.900 GOLD, 0.1296 OZ PURE. LOW MINTAGE OF 153K. OBV: HEAD OF FREDERICK VIII, REV: DRAPED CROWNED NATIONAL ARMS ABOVE DATE

KM#809 and it has a lion and is prettier than the indian.image

    Bang for buck is definately there. Even though your coin has a Lion on it this is one of the rare cases where I prefer the liteside $5 Indian and Eagle design over the darkside coin. image

    Beautiful piece-I've bought many a coin with the thought in mind that a comparable US coin would be orders of magnitude more expensive...
