Today I received the last coin (The Florin) to finish the AU/BU 1928 Irish free state date set from good 'ol Éire. I now have a complete set
What was funny about this set was the hardest coin to find was the florin. There were over 2 mil of those struck in 1928 and finding one in in AU/BU was tough. You'd think it was the Farthing that would be the hard one to find seeing only little over 90,000 of those were struck. I came across plenty of those in the grade I was searching for but the florin was the hardest. Anyway it's done and now I am off to put together a birth date set in the same coinage.
