Why did San Fran go through so many dies?

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

  • Wouldbe neat to compare the mintage/#of dies. I assume that the high # of dies in SF was due to the silver coming from the Comstock mine.

  • How did you get the data?

Do you have # dies for 1878 cc quarter? I own an obverse die.

Thanks. With a mid-year FY, you can't determine how many were dated each year.

That's right; plus you could manufacture 100 dies, but only use 60 as an example.
