I finally found a Lion Dollar

I've been wanting one of these for awhile. It's a 1661 Lion Daalder from the Netherlands. These circulated in the
American colonies. The rims are a bit rough but otherwise it's a nice example. Text

That's a nice one. You mention the rims being a bit rough but I would say they look a lot better than most I have seen.

Looks nice. I agree with the others that it is a very above average specimen. I've seen a lot of nicer ones on the market recently, so the rest of you who have been looking for a while may get a chance at one too.
