If they are Gem and nice looking and

are a few hundred dollars, is it time to buy them?
There once was a place called

Interesting question, Bear. So many obverse-only DMPL Morgans have no designation at all on the holder because the reverse didn't make PL. And without the designation, a lot of people won't be interested if the coin is offered at a premium.

But they are out there and many times can be had for little to no premium over a non-PL. And they look really nice.

Are you finding most people asking a premium for non-designated coins that are obverse DMPLs?

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
