1921-D VAM-1V Die Break O - I hope

I had to run some errands at the same time an auction was ending. I may have paid too much, but it was a nice suprise to see that ITEM WON email message when I returned home.
I think it's a VAM-1V with the die break in the top of the O in OF (page 42 in Rob's book).

I don't have Rob's book to reference but there's also the possibility it could be a 1921 D VAM 1X Pre-Rim Cud E-P. Reference photo by LeRoy Van Allen at Ashmore.com website.

Could be 1V. Certainly a 21-D variety.

There's only one VAM-1X in existence and there's some disagreement on the only known "EDS VAM-1X" as the die cracks apparently
don't match up. The reverse of the confirmed 1X is nearly devoid of cracks.

Hard to tell from the picture, but it certainly looks like a nice pick.
