Collector's Universe, 2nd quarter conference call

I'm not a financial whiz, (or even financially solvent), but on Yahoo Financial, I found a recording of the CU quarterly conference call which was apparently conducted today.

Something I found interesting was their description of future expansion of the business. Besides the newly (or soon to be) implemented Currency grading, they are considering: Diamonds, Gemstones, Jewlery, and Watches.

Hey! Nice Timex....what does it grade? image

Very interesting about the jewels. I wonder how one would slad a rolex. Or a saphire. Who would want to slab a gemstone?!

I wish they'd streamline what they are already doing first.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

GIA currently certifies diamonds and are well respected. You shouldn't buy a significant diamond without one.
I doubt CU could make a dent in their business model.

    GIA sample certificate.

image PCGS should not become a "Jack of all trades and a Master of none" fix first what got them to this point.
