That's over the top in my opinion. I will and have paid the Heritage buyers fee of %15 percent which I also find a bit steep. I guess I draw the line at 15%. How about you.

    I never paid more then 15%. There is a 5% sellers fee, but that is negotiable

    based upon the value of the coins and total sum to be auctioned.

    Aren't they offering 0% seller commission for the time being? Maybe that's a factor.

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

    I believe it is only 20% if you bid through eBay. Many of the other houses do the same. Essentially, it is the 15% plus another 5% for eBay. Bid directly on Goldberg's website and avoid the extra 5%.

    I usually just figure what I am willing to pay for the coin and adjust my bid accordingly so the buyers fee is not all that relevant to me.
