new season starts march 6th
oh, deadhead show......not a fan of the grateful dead.
Actually, I've always loved the April 1971 show at the Fillmore east.
I know there are plenty of other music fans among our ranks ... it would be interesting to poll the musical tastes of those here and find out who likes bluegrass and who likes Guy Lombardo.
Betts medals, colonial coins, US Mint medals, foreign coins found in early America, and other numismatic Americana
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
Favorite show I attended : 10/23/80 Radio City Music Hall - Acoustic Set...gret show.
They call me "Pack the Ripper"
My favorite is the one I listen to all the time
July 1st, 1992 Buckeye Lake, Ohio
w/Steve Miller
I'm just too young to have seen them in concert (I'll be 21 in March)
Jeff

I also dabble with the darkside
Ive recently gotten more into currency, especially modern star notes
I'm looking forward to the new season as well. Do you ever watch Carnival on HBO? That's also one of my favorites.

<< <i>Every show was the "best" show. All depends on what frame of mind one was in. >>
Made it to a show in Denver in the 70's, it was so long, I fell asleep, and someone woke me up when it was over. Something to do with that frame of mind thing.
Apropos of the coin posse/aka caca: "The longer he spoke of his honor, the tighter I held to my purse."
:::sigh:::: my wife hears Sugar Magnolia and invariably says "isn't that about enough of that song?"
I first saw them in Kansas City late 1972 (or was that early 1973?)
Last saw them in St. Louis at Riverport, their third and fourth final shows.
What a long strange trip it's been!
Best to all
KJ
I have to admit I love to early stuff alot more than the later shows.
Soprano's in High definition is my favorite
Stanley Theatre (Pittsburgh, PA), March 3, 1981.
I have been to shows in Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, West Virginia, Florida, DC, Missouri, and Illinois.
Also look at this awesome 26 Lincoln to keep this coin related.
I wasn't at any of those, though. Best I attended? Hmmm... SPAC, June 88. Chinese New Year, 1991. 1st night of the spring tour at Auburn Hills, 1992 was pretty great. First night at Soldier that June (the blues one -- James Cotton on harmonica, etc.) was tops, too. But nothing quite touches that May 77 run, does it...
OK, while we're on the topic, useful info for those that have missed it -- you know there are hundreds and hundreds of hours of shows downloadable as shn or mp3 files at gdlive.com, right? If not, you're missing out...
Cool topic, if off-topic. But yes, I collect coins.
Here's the pic:
Thanks for the link to GDLIVE.COM Way cool. May need a 2nd hard drive.
Remember a favorite Show in Hartford Civic Center (10/ 83?) (Later became a "dicks Picks). Scarlet-fire>estimated- eyes. Awsome use of the multi directional speakers during space (which I usually hate).
My soon likes Bertha, Monkey and the engineer, and GoodLovin'
Went to see the dead last summer, great show better in some cases, but still not the same.
to keep on topic
I collect Franklins, and love the Help>Slip> Franklin's tower jams.
