Picked this up a couple months ago, good deal?

I posted this IHC a couple months back, won it on ebay for I think close to 24 bucks. Thought it was a pretty good deal (redbook ms63 50.00..dont think its right) Its a NGC ms64bn...well anyways heres a couple pics of it.I think it still has some red in it...any opinions.

first pic I did nothing to ......2nd pic used PS and did quick fix nothing more and I think it represents the coin more closely.
putting together a MS 60 and up Morgan set....60% complete...otlher 40% probably take the rest of the decade!

  • There looks to be wear on the coin to me - could be just the pics.
  • ur saying this coin is in an NGC slab as MS64?
  • Remember what is stated on the first few pages of the Redbook... Something about that it (the Redbook) is not to be used as a price guide. They're right too... They usually show very high prices. I wouldn't want to see you get burned using it as a pricing guide. I use the greysheet, Coin Values, and Coins collectively. But in the end, I guess it really doesn't matter. Value is truly in the eye of the beholder.

  • Yep it is in a NGC MS64 BN

    Line #1807509-001

    Why overgraded?

And your right I agree coinvalues is more realistic in the pricing being a ms60 br.is listed at 25 bucks and a 63rb at 40 bucks..

  • Well, since a regular/earlybird submission fee is $30, I'd say it's a good deal.

If you lived around here you'ld find that at the numerous coin shows that coin would sell for a little more than the Red Book. So I thiink you did great.
