1812 Bust half Struck through?

I found this at the local coin shop last Saturday and was truly intrigued. The coin has a rotated reverse die about 20 percent. The strike is awful, the rim lettering is high and what looks like rim ticks are the tops of the letters punched into the rim. The coolest part is what looks like an inverse image of the coin's obverse struck through upside down, and reversed on the reverse of the coin.
You can actually see the letters BER in reverse and upside down on the reverse of the coin. My scanner cannot capture it that well, but turning it in the light it almost seems to be a raised relief imprint on the coin.
Anybody seen a Bust half with this strike through look? Is this considered clashed dies? I am very curious.
Thanks,
Tyler

Probably clashed, rotated and then clashed again. Probably a variety but maybe not!! We might have another Baley issue!

Tyler,
You just bought a very respectable example of O-107, which is well known to have clashed marks due to heavily clashed dies. There's no premium for the clash marks, but please understand that you do not have a coin with "strike through" damage.
O-107 is an R.1 variety, but it is becoming difficult to locate any early date Bust Halves that are original and in decent condition. Grading by variety, you coin looks to be EF-40. Even uncirculated examples of 107 have edge deterioration and it is not possible to find an example with full dentilation on both sides. Welcome to the world of coins struck by hand in a screw press with an open collar!!!!
Very nice coin. Keep it!!!!!

Hawaii is too hot and muggy. Tyler, come to beautiful Michigan, where you can ski in the winter and sail in the summer. Can't do that in Hawaii. Besides, John is just trying to trick you into selling your 1812 half for 1/2 of Blue Sheet bid.
