Another French Conder
![elverno](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/authoricons/mylogo-sm2.jpg)
This is an example of the 2 Sols token issued by the Clemanson company of Lyon. Unlike their British contemporaries French tokens were not actively collected at the time they were made. As a result their condition is usually more like this one than the stunning examples of British pieces that we are treated to by our friends here on the forum. The French call this class of numismatics "monnaie particulière". ![image](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif)

It's 32 mm in size and is classified as Hennin 454.

Not this one. The common Monneron brothers token that you see on the Bay a lot (sometimes called a medal) was made by the ton; those will show up in unc or near unc. The Clemanson brothers had a much smaller output and it was put to considerable use. I have another of these that showed up at the same time as this one, nearly the same condition but 1/10 the price... Go figure...
You want how much?!!
