I just ran a quick set of numbers about our website and realized that we now have 1077 Coins, Medals, Tokens and Paper Money items. I'm pretty sure with this most recent update, that it is the first time we've had over 1000 numismatic items on our website.
Break down:
536 Ancient Coins
17 Currency
31 Exonumia
216 Medieval Coins
13 U.S. Coins
264 World Coins
------------------------
1077 Items
We also have 77 Books listed. (Hmm, 7 is becoming a common theme here).
So by my math (which is not always to be trusted) that makes 1154 items.
Taking that into account, let's give away something that has a good chance of having been struck in 1154 A.D.
Here is the booty (Huh...I said booty.)

Manuel I 1143-1180 A.D.
AE Trachy
Obv.: Nimbate christ enthroned
Rx.: The emperor, standing facing, crowned, wearing loros and jewelled chlamys, holding labarum and globus cruciger patriarchal
27mm
All you have to do to qualify for the giveaway is respond to this thread and I'll pick a winner on let's say, Feb 1 at 6PM CST. >>
