Heritage Bullet - anyone get anything?

I got the one coin I wanted..........at $51 + juice, which isn't too bad for a PCGS MS67 blue toned Rosy:

  • I got a 1855 1/2 C MS63 Brown PCGS. B-1, C-1, R.1. A crisply struck chocolate-brown example. A tick is on the upper neck, and a couple of small, faint spots are right of the T in CENT. The obverse is slightly misaligned toward 9 o'clock. Certified in a former generation holder. By the way, the label on the PCGS holder is yellow - what, if anything does that mean?

I had the high bid at $300 on a 1836 Bust Half Dime, PCGS MS62, but somebody sniped me with less than a minute to go and it sold for $325. Also had the high bid on a beautiful 1913 Barber ime, PCGS MS64, but lost it in the final minutes also. I was the high bidder for a long time on a 1864 Two Cent Piece, PCGS MS64RB, but it also went for one increment over my $220 bid.

Oh well, can’t win them all. (Probably a good thing for my budget, though.) I did pick up a nice 1949 MS66RD Lincoln for my birth year registry mint set at @ $200.

P.S. Note the new icon (Shana Hiatt from the Texas Hold-em Poker Channel). I had to crop it tight to keep it legal.

    Just scored 2:

    1934 Mercury Dime PCGS MS67FB

    1940 Mercury Dime PCGS MS67FB

Psyched -- these were both upgrades to my 66FB's.

    1913 MS-64 Barber Dime

Missed out on the coin I REALLY wanted.....1858 AU-58 3-cent Silver. After holding the high bid for over a week, I traded bids with someone today, but decided he wanted it more.

Still waiting on a $10 gold Indian....

Dang, how did I miss that 1947-S Blue Toned Roosie. Guess I was to busy biding on a few Indian Proofs.

<< <i>That was nicely toned as I recall (best toning of the few available) >>

The 3-center was toned, and looked really nice. Interesting thing is that it was sold by Heritage a couple years ago, and was listed on the "previously sold" list with a much better picture. I was hoping nobody else saw that. image

The dime appears to be white or pale gold. Looks nice.

Craig, I really like that 46S....and the 50P isn't too shabby either. When Iwas doing NGC Washingtons, I had a hand full of blue washingtons in my set - and was always looking for more......probably the best of the bunch was the 59P MS67...not a cross coin but boy was it blue! Would love to see your pics of those coins.........

    Shutout.

I DON'T BELIEVE SOME OF THESE PRICES.

Guess I'll be taking my money back to the bank tomorrow. image

Picked up a nice duplicate 1895-O Barber Half, in PCGS AU 55. Its a better strike than the one in my set.
Paid a touch more than I'd have liked to, but I think I paid a fair price.

Did anyone else notice that there were NO AU Barber Halves for sale on the FUN Bourse Floor ?

Sure there were! Tons of them.

    All in MS-61 holders

  • I picked up an 1883-O Morgan PCGS MS66.

It's an upgrade from the MS65 I already had in my registry set.
  • Picked up a nice 1842-O Eagle for my gold type set. I paid way too much for it, but I really like how it looks. In addition to being my No Motto Liberty Eagle, this coin gives me a gold coin from each of the mints.

Wow!! The Roosies were strong, NGC 68FT Roosies sold for $1500 - $2000 plus the juice. I was the under bidder
on most of them. I couldn't believe I got out bid on so many, and all in the last minute. Snipers....image
The 59P MS68 monster toner sold for $900 + juice and again I was the under bidder.

Time to move the prices up on Roosies

I only saw one coin that I was interested in, but bidding was too high.

I started out with a dozen coin track list, whittled it down to three and then chased a 1895-s morgan and won!

Dude! I was going to bid on that, but the price got too rich for me. Glad you won it, tho'

I also got totally own3d on this Hawaiian quarter -- I thought my $200 bid was rich for it. Oh, well...
  • I picked up an 1828 50C Curl Base 2, paid $690 for an Anacs XF 45. OUCH, a variety I need but I guess no price breaks this year.
  • I bid on a bunch of Seated Lib Dimes... too low on all 7... prices are still booming. Did pretty well at FUN though...
