Houston Coin & Currency Show -- Sun Jan 16th at Hilton Houston SW

There will be a small coin show in Houston TODAY Sun, Jan 16 starting at 10:00 AM being sponsored by a company from the Temple/Waco,TX area.

It will be held at the Hilton Houston Southwest 6780 Southwest Freeway (Tel: 713-977-7911) located on the outbound SW Freeway access road 3/10 mi southwest of Hillcroft Ave. I believe that it's near the intersection of Savoy & the SW Freeway.

I'll be there with some duplicate Morgans to sell or trade, and will be wearing my PCGS Forum (geeky) badge as usual so that I can be ID'd by savvy forum members... image

    Enjoyed seeing you at the show. The show wasn't much Hoss but me and Travis picked up a really nice 1881 CC MS-64 PCGS coin for our collection.

    Enjoyed seeing Dizz and meeting another forum member there.

    Hi Steve: It was good to see you and Travis at the show. I bet that you purchased the 1881-CC from the table on the right as you entered the show room -- they guy with a lot of PCGS GSA CC Morgans.

    Some of those coins were very tempting. Only 1 was graded PL, but several of them looked very nearly PL, and could be purchased for standard (non-PL) prices. But I'm trying to be a bit more disciplined by focusing on coins that I need to fill holes or to upgrade my PL/DMPL Morgan Registry Sets.

    I am looking forward to seeing you and other forum members at the upcoming big Houston S.W. Money Show towards the end of the month!!
