Folks, you have got to see Bill's set in person. It's the most beautiful collection of Roosies I've ever seen!!!!!! Not only that, but Bill's a great guy too. It was a joy to talk with him and share our collections. He also sold me a few of his "dog's". Here's one that was in his set for a while. I'll post the others after they're scanned.

    Thanks Bill, it was FUN.

    Jim

I missed it and I was there. But bought a nice complete set of Roosies raw that look great - most with FBs and 50% are album toned (blues, purples, magentas). Will be fun to start submitting them.

"I like lots and lots and lots of cash!!!"

I believe I offered you what I would consider "lots and lots of cash" for that 49P dime of yours and
you turned me down flat....But seriously... I had the honor to see Bills entire Rooselvelt dime set.
(He only had about 15 of them at the show) and I will be the first to admit that his collection is
the most beautiful matched toned Roosevelt dime collection in the world bar none...He is a true
collector of buy the coin not the holder....His collection consist of both NGC and PCGS coins. Many
of his PCGS 67's would upgrade to 68 and several of his NGC 68's would cross. At this time Bill
just doesn't care about the number on the holder. It was worth the 3000 mile trip for me just to
be able to view his set. I must have looked at it for a good hour. I then pulled out my camera
and took over 200 photos of his set and I will have them all posted on Bills registry set across the
street with in the next 2 weeks and I guarantee you my photos will not even come close to how
beautiful some of these coins are. As I was looking over his set I was very proud to see 5 dimes
from my previous set now residing in Bills set, Including a spectacular 1962D NGC MS67*FT that
I had just made at FUN specifically for Bills set.

But the absolute best part was sitting back at Bills house with a nice glass of wine and watching
Bill prepare by hand a fabulous Lobster dinner for Alden and myself. Bill your a gracious host and
one hell of a good guy.

I'm sorry I missed seeing the set.......as Bill has said in the past, there are 5 or 6 "old friends of mine" that I helped by contributing. I was fortunate enough to see Bill's set about 2 years ago at FUN and from what I understand, about 75% of the set has since been upgraded. I believe what the lucky few saw at FUN was the result of 19 years of dedication and perseverence on Bill's part. Its no mean task to assemble a completely matched (toning wise) set of coins - I know, I've been working myself on such a set for over 3 years and its barely 1/2 done.

Great efforts are rewarded by great results! Congrats (again),Bill.......
