2005 MS SAE problems continue

Why cant the mint figure out why most of the SAE since about 1996, that I have seen, all have a scrape, mark, or some sort of disfiguring markmat the 10 oclock postion on the sun. I can understand once but year after year?

I'm thinking it's from air trapped when the dies hit the planchet. Maybe since the sun is so concave?

Best examine the coins your purchasing, keep the good and leave the bad with the dealer you are buying from. Or, change dealers. There is no reason to pay good $ on marked/damaged Unc. If they are Proofs, return to the mint for refund.
