There's quite a lot of better material on my website and more being uploaded every day. FUN has been somewhat disappointing as prices for the material I specialize in is high high but I'm picking a few off here and there.

On a lighter side, have a large quantity of shipwreck type coins, in gold as well as silver. Slabbed or raw. I'll get some scans done and post them here in a couple of days. Also bought a few nice Morgan dollar toners and several tough early gold coins but not as many as I would have liked to buy.

Most of the early half eagles have also been sold now. We'll be removing them and adding quite a lot of new material in the next few days. Still trying to figure out how to get better scans without buying a camera and learning how to become a professional photographer.

It's not just buying the camera Robert. It's the time and space. Half our house already looks like a combination of coin shop, library, computer development company, madman's laboratory

Ahhh well, I'll probably break down although my wife experimenrted with the 1794 half dime some more and it's REAL close although still not quite as sharp as we'd like. The new scan isn't on the site yet as she's not done experimenting. Hopefully this weekend. I just picked up a cool original crusty 1797 quarter eagle in VF-35 which will definitely be up there in a day or two.

Hey Baily,

Ok here goes, Toms very first post which includes a scanned coin! Bear with me. My wife is standing right next to me as I try to do this.

This 1797 is actually quite a bit nicer in person that Lot 695, Pevehouse/Davis, ANR sale which was also my consignment. I thought about dipping this one ( Hahaha kidding) but decided against it. I think that it's more an XF than VF quite frankly.

1794 Half Dime no longer available.

Having been sold there are a number of coins being deleted tonight and tomorrow. However, there will also be more than 3 dozen new coins added in the next 24-72 hours on a daily basis. Please check back often and call on coins you would either like to buy, trade for or need more info on.

I'll be leaving Florida for a month starting early next week, however I will still be available via cell phone and email.

Considering the prices on your material I think a few hundred spent on a professional photographer to get you 5% more here or there would be a great investment.

I don't have time, am not willing to assume any more risk, etc etc in seeing a "professoinal" photographer to have pictures taken of coins. Far as buying a camera set up and taking the time to learn how to take photos, that may happen somewhere down the road but for now it's my wife and a flatbed scanner. Again, that might happen, but there's a lot of other things in the front of the line.

I am definitely not interested in adding 5% or any percent to the price of coins in order to do that.

I might have years ago, but now as I get old ( haha) the drive for more more more has shifted into other priorities which are more important to me and my family. Plus we're doing pretty darn good now for ourselves and our customers and happy as clams about it.

New coins being uploaded on my website below starting in about an hour from now and will continue thru tomorrow and possibly monday. At least 35 new coins will be listed in the offerings.

Some highlights include: a fantastic early 1798 half eagle in Ch AU, several exceedingly rare Carson City Gold coins including a condition census half eagle, A very cheaply priced 1807 early quarter eagle, several rare quarter eagles, a couple of great Civil War date double eagles and more!
