To (now somewhat belatedly) celebrate my 20,000 post anniversary, I will give a Crisp Uncirculated (or so claimed by the seller) 1923 German 20,000-mark inflationary note away. Just reply to this thread.

Make that TWO notes... I bought a pair of 'em!

Notes are in hand now and are definitely as nice as the seller claimed- they look like CU examples to me.

That's a pretty cool note there, LordM, I sure would like a shot at it.....

I had a 1 Million Mark note when i was in Jr. High, My history teacher told me that it took alot of them just to buy a loaf of bread, Also that the U.S. soldier's substituted them for toilet paper and they were also referred to as wallpaper money because of their size. I lost it in a house fire in 92......Bummer.....
