High going into the auction today on one item but after watching online last night the chance of a win is zero. Man the gold, which I know nothing about, sure seemed hot.

It sure was fun watching the one coin go to $800,000 (maybe it was higher) and others go for over a quarter million. Spirited bidding.

The six mint state barbers I was successful in buying in the live auction through my agent are (all pcgs-graded coins): 94-O, 95-P, 99-P, 03-S, 06-O, and 09-O. These will be added to my registry set once in my possession as I remained home for this show and auction particulary since yesterday was my 20th wedding anniversary and that was a high priority to be home for.

Also I managed to pick up one NGC graded coin, the 06-S.

Images of these coins are currently available for viewing at the Heritage web site.

I can't thank Harry Laibstain enough for his numismatic expertise and outstanding eye in helping me pick and win the great coins I have won.

I went to the edge, looked down, blinked, and a flloor bidder blew by me and won the one lot I really wanted. 0 for 1.

I went a little on the grey side to pick up a scattering of Canadian and Newfoundland coins in the HWCA.
