PCGS Slabs

My question regards the type of slabs used by PCGS and their approximate dates of use. I have seen very early PCGS slabs with a type font from a pin printer; I have seen clear slabs with white labels with a bar code on the back; I have seen clear slabs with white labels with a bar code on the front; and I do believe I've seen clear slabs with green labels. I only assume one replaces another and that as PCGS has improved their slabs from the standpoint of air/moisture contamination.

Can anyone help me out and lay out these holders in some sort of time line?
