This was from the 1956-58 sets I bought. You already saw some of the 57 highlights. I couldnt' stand it any longer and opened up the 58. WOW!!!!!

These aren't the best pics because the adrenaline is still going and I was rushing to share.

I think that was a good buy.......I could see each of those frankies pulling at least double what you paid for the set let alone the rest of the coins......just exceptional color

Note: I said at least double since I don't know what the coins grade, but the color is awsome.

My quick evaluation of the coins (while giddy with glee) is they are around 66 with 1 of the frankies a shot at 67. The eye appeal may be just enough...

I got it for $125 off of ebay. The pics didn't look great but I just had a feeling about the set. The 1957 had a few special coins, too. The 56 was kinda disappointing.

The reverse on that first Frankie is not all that different than this one:

I think if the juice in the above image was dialed back a bit, they'd be very similar. That one was a PCGS MS66 that brought over $800. Can't remember the year, though.

It seems to me that the 55 and 58 sets really produced some incredible toners at times. I'm just so fortunate on this one. You're right. That one and mine seem similar. The obverses of these are not white but just off white. Like a pleasing shade of champaign. They're going off to PCGS Tuesday.

WOW!!

Tonight I opened five 64 proof sets and pulled two AH Kennedys and one regular Kennedy Cam plus a Roosie Cam. I was gonna post it, glad I didn't now.

That blows my finds away.

I just do not like tarnish on coins. My suggestion is that you dip the coins to remove all of the tarnish. That way you would have some nice, bright, shiny white coins.....................................(Just kidding, those coins are awesome, great find. Let us know what grade the slabbing gods at PCGS give them).
