Well - since I just dumped a whole boatload of money (to me anyway) upgrading my Roosies (yeah yeah I know 
) I'll probably hold off buying stuff for a little while to replenish the coffers. However these two pieces came in yesterday and I was quite pleased with them. The first is a John XXIII first year of issue with very pretty prooflike fields and frost on the devices. You can tell that it's a business strike because you can see die polish marks on the reverse. Pretty piece none-the-less. I love the detail on the Pope's cloak. The second is a nice 2 Franc sower that I was hoping would have a little more color in hand but alas it's just gold/brown. We'll see what else comes down the pike in the next few months
