A New Spence Conder

Added these two (See next post) to my Thomas Spence collection. Spence was a radical of his time with visions of of how society "should" be.
On the obverse: (left) William Pitt (Englands Prime Minister) conjoined with Charles Fox (Opposition leader). Pitts sadness is due to his unpopularity.
The reverse: A double caduceus of Hermes the messenger. The crown of liberty sinking in the west, with the cap of liberty rising in the east.
The Edge: Spence x Dealer x in x coins x London.
A nice brown example with a wonderful blue irridescent blue on the reverse. imageimage
