Goes by Jim Palmer too - in Austin Texas. Anyone know of him/them?? (any board folks from Austin??)

    Do you mean "Jim Parker," by chance? The handle you quoted is "jimparker" when read backward.

    (Edited to add: I don't know any Jim Parker either, other than he wasn't an old pitcher for the Orioles.)

    Jim Palmer, Hall of Fame pitcher for Baltimore. He was also a commentator on NBC game of the week baseball.
