Buy the coin, not the decade/century. Awesome coins can be found from all eras, IMHO.

The reverse of the Maine State quarter is very attractive to my eye. Wow! - It's modern, and common but still is a sweet design.

THANK YOU... I have been in shock the last few days, reading all the modern and classic bashing going on.

No going and solving it, dammit! I haven't had time to wade into the mess and offend/confuse/amuse others with my aberrant viewpoints yet.

Furthermore...I keep getting distracted by repeated mention of some "Party in IG's room!" I'm not sure what that's all about and the small part of my mind that passes for my rational thought center keeps on screaming "RUN AWAY" at the rest of my brain (I guess it is right...the phrase "clothing optional" does not mix well with the word "numismatist"), yet some other part of my brain (perhaps that same troublesome part that caused me to join a fraternity back in my college years) keeps insisting that this is something I should look into.

...Oh, and a question for LTC...any basis in my thinking that you'll be easy to pick out at FUN? I keep thinking you probably have "POOR IMPULSE CONTROL" tattooed on your forehead as a warning to others.

1. I take my meds to get this way; otherwise I would be normal and normal just isn't any fun. Absinthe does count as "meds", right?

2. "The voices"...internal dialogue, a perfectly valid literary construct. If said voices continued of their own volition, conducted conversations among themselves, or exhorted me to act in ways that were socailly unaceptable....yeah, then I would worry.

3. Electroshock therapy. Now I'm just guessing here, but I'd lay a wager that anyone who claims electroshock therapy will make someone else "feel better" didn't come to that conclusion via an interpretation of the scientific method that I would be comfortable with.

4. You seem to be avoiding my question about the tattoo. Perhaps you'll be wearing a hat at FUN?

5. Those Seated Dollars you have sound interesting...I might want to take a look at what you have left in a few weeks.
