WOW no help with my question?? did everybody develope lockjaw?? 1857 and 58 FE

Ok I have a few of them but the 2 that have my interest are my 1857 and the 1858LL. The 1857 I know for a fact its doubledie on the obv but I dont have a clue what type or what type it is. Bit of a discribtion. Under loop you can see doubling on the rica in America also on the nite in United and also on both "t" a e in states. The eye is doubled but I can't tell if the wing tip is the broken or missing type. Unfortantly its probally grades in the vg area.

Ok the 1858 this is a shot in the dark but I believe it is a snow-2 except mine shows what looks like a repunched date or a doubled date now if its machine or other doubling I dont know I still havent figure dout what each is.

Ok my question where can I send these to be looked at and identified and it not cost me more then im worth? is there anybody here thats willing to do it for free(I know parish the thought of doing something for free) Can ANACS do it how much will they cost??

Now the next thing people will ask for pictures of them but sorry ive been trying for 3 years now and my digital cam dosent have the pixel power to do it. I wish it did but they wernt as powerfull back then when I got it.

Anyhelp would be appricated.

  • Would help if I could. Here's a link to ANACS. They have an "attribution" service for $6.00 per coin. Says they do

<< <i>certification for 95 percent of varieties from every major numismatic reference: We offer the industry's most complete, most accurate service >>

$6.00/coin plus the regular cost of slabbing - depending on whether you want economy, express, yada, yada.

You can actually mail them to rick snow.

You can find the info on his site somewhere or call and ask him.

I'm not sure if you have to be a "Fly In Club" member or not to do so.

if all else fails, you can mail them to me and I can look in my book for you.

The cost is $4 per coin plus return postage for me to attribute it (or you could buy the book). Not a free service, otherwise I'd never get anything done.

If you do not send return postage you get it mailed first class at your own risk.
