    The only dangley ear rings that I ever wear are 12 gauge hoops. Maybe theya re 10's, I can't remember. I never take them out. Even when I had surgery they wrapped them up with tape so no arching would happen with their electric scalple do-dads.

    Those look like a mideval torture device, although I can see why Mr Thigpen might go for a big time piercing

    I'm no jewelry expert but as an old salt sees it the clasp looks like it was made from a side arm trigger and a whaling hook with its gaff removed and could possibly be a mite heavier than the lady on the coin herself... crude like me and not a dainty looking piece and possibly me thinks matey that it was originally designed for one of my buckanears. (oops sorry mate...the b is a mis-type) image
