COIN VAULT - IKE PROOF DOLLARS

I was watching the Coin Vault on Shop at Home network last night and they offered the complete 11 coin Eisenhower dollar set in PCGS PR69DCAM for $999 on 5 pay. They said it was listed for $1,455 on the CU price site. I checked this morning and sure enough, it's there.
So my question is, "How come?" What do these 11 coins go for in the market? Is the price guide way out of wack on this one? Feedback appreciated. Thanks,
Steve

If this is true, then the PCGS price guide is clearly out of whack. Until recently I had a '78-S Ike in PCGS 69DCAM. The PCGS guide shows $55 for this coin, but in reality, it usually fetches $20-$25.

True enough, but it also depends on the type of coins we're talkling about. I'd suspect that the prices listed for something like a non-key date Seated Quarter in F-12 is likely more accurate (and stable) than a PR-69DCAM coin, or an MS-68RD Lincoln Memorial cent, or things like that.
series, the CU Price Guide is a whack job?
Its gonna get better though....right?
