POLL: Now that you have a digital camera do you ever use your scanner?

I find that I am using my scanner less and less, if fact I am thinking of unhooking it and using my camera for all imaging tasks.

Actually, I use my scanner for all the Goetz bronze and even bought another identical scanner in case this one burns out.

Once in a while, but I had digital camera long before I had a scanner....

I still use both, but that's probably because my digital camera is such a POS. Ask me again when I get a really GOOD digital camera

I am still using my scanner for coins because I haven't yet had time to figure out the correct settings on my digital camera to get a good photo of them.

I use my scanner for Slab coins, If the top edge of the slab is proped up on a prone pencil, you can get better shots than a camera.

Started off scanning coins and then progressed to a digital camera. Only take photographs of coins now so the scanner is pretty much redundant!

The last time I used my scanner for imaging coins it was a disaster. I have an all-in-one and only use it now for running copy and scanning photos and documents.

I still use it for currency but not coins - coins is all camera now.

Digital cameras suck for imaging a 60-page document in order to convert it to a PDF file.

Scanners come in very handy for currency and stamps. I've had some success with stamps and the digital camera, but currency is just too big to get a nice photograph.
