PCGS number on coin recieved may be different than coin pictured.

Not "coin may be different than one pictured." I guess that's a sign of the times. The PCGS number is what matters. image

(BTW, just saw that in an auction from a seller that has a boatload of coins listed.) It just struck me as weird.

I've seen this before too...... I'm guessing that for many modern issues, some dealers think that any 68 is equal to any other 68- but I still think that it make more financial sense to actually show the coin that is up for sale.....

  • I do this sometimes on moderns, when I have 40+ of them and they sell for around $20, it just takes too much time to make sure you have the correct photo, and sometimes I screw up and put the wrong photo up and this is a CYA.

I sold 2 NGC 2002 SAE's PR70 and MS70 with no pic's, however I did state that serial number was avaliable on request. I listed them on EBAY with no pic because I didnt have a digital camera. These will probably be the last coins I will sell.
