Are any of you working on a circulated (g - XF) date set of anything?

I was thinking of starting a date set of Indian Cents, all in circulated condition... maybe even raw!
It might make me feel young again, as I collected them when I was a kid. I figure that I could have a lot of fun doing this, while spending less than what I would for a single expensive coin. Of course, not worrying about the grade on a slab might make it less stressful as well.
Do any of you collect circulated, inexpensive coins? Is it along with more expensive, "investor grade" coins, or is it instead of them?

I hope to upgrade my complete Barber Half set from G-XF to F-XF within two years. Ditto for Walking Liberty Halves, although the common ones are at least AU.
I admit to a few Liberty Nickels in my Whitman folder which need to upgrade to G-4.
Barber Dimes are already complete, F-MS63, but could be better.
I;m no longer working on several G-XF sets I own: Washington Quarters 1932-64, Jefferson Nickels through 1971, Indian Head Cents (missing only 1877 and 1909-S), Lincoln Cents though 1988 (missing only '09S-VDB and 22 no D) and Peace Dollars (missing the 1928). Perhaps I'll work on these again when I stop focusing on my main sets (Barbers and U.S. Type).

Already have complete sets of Washingtons G to AU, Lincolns 1909 to date, minus the 22plain, VG to BU, and Jeffersons VG to AU.

<< <i>I am doing full sets of all the silver capped bust coins in F-XF...both because it is price prohibitive in high grade and I prefer the "circulated" look of capped coinage over mint state. >>
Me too. Mine are mostly XF. A few AU and a few VF.
I'm also working on Draped Bust dimes. Some of the coins are slabbed, some aren't. The pricier ones I prefer slabbed. The others, I don't care one way or the other.
If I had it my way, stupidity would be painful!
They're a lot of fun and you don't have to keep them in a safety deposit box.
Separately, somewhat akin to cladking, I have two complete sets of circ Washingtons in better than the average appearance for this - no cleaned coins - and about half of them BU in each set. These two are in addition to my "serious" set of unc Washingtons, which does lack a '32-D and has the '32-S in AU55, but everything else is trying to be MS-63 or better. But with the two circ sets, I didn't stop at '64, but continue to garner circ clad examples for them.
I wasn't going to do two circ sets of Washingtons, but after finding an F-12 '32-D in a junkbox for $1, I figured, why not? Circ coins are fun as, for a lot less money than chasing some very scarce dates in unc, you can find the "perfect" circ example for a given piece.

Debating following JrGMan's lead and doing a circ Barber dime set...that sounds like that would be a lot of fun.
