NGC/Collectors Socity e-mail address and profile update help needed.

I need some help here, either locating the correct page or understanding the correct procedure for updating my e-mail address and my mailing address along with my login information at both the PCGS and NGC sites. I went into the PCGS profile here on Thanksgiving and changed my e-mail address and was immediately logged off and denied access until I received a new password from either an autmatic mailing or an attendant worker doing some stuff away from the office. Now, I attempted the same thing at the NGC site and seemed to be allowed to change things but was again denied, with the exception that today my old signin and password are once again working.

My question is this----is there are web-page for either site that allows us to change passwords and e-mail addresses without having to contact the offices directly?? Please link me to it if there is, this is maddening.

Ouch! Sorry to hear that. I want to change my email address as well and was wondering if that would happen.

Hope someone knows the answer here for your sake.

Try changing just one thing at a time like only your password. I know that you can have different passwords for the registry and for posting messages.

  • Al,

Sounds like YOU are missing a file.

Change anything on the PC lately ?

Find the VB50 runtime library and the VB60 runtime library over at the Gates Hotel and download em.

i just got off the phone with NGC and it's a problem with their server or something. they can't even edit my profile and told me to wait a few days till they can make the fix.

  • That error is an error on an ASP page, which is their code and problem. Those can be pesky little buggers sometimes. image Nothing that you have done wrong.

Whoever chose that forum set up is the problem. It's always been crap and so slow I don't know how anyone with less than a high speed cable connection uses it. Even with comcast it's just not worth the waiting time.

NGC just redid their registry stuff a few months ago and I agree its slower than before.
