DISCLAIMER-I have NO affiliation with this coin other than I photo'd it and I know who owns it.
The only claims I make about this coin is the above mentioned and the fact that it may be the slickest Ike you ever see. With that being said, here's the story.
The owner of this Ike told me his granddaughter was born in 1976 so he bought this coin in 76 to commemorate the event, and he has carried it in his pocket for 28 years this coming February.I have no reason to doubt him because any time I've asked to see it ,it was in his pocket. The first time I saw it was about 4 yrs ago.It actually has more detail than I remembered, but i had'nt seen it in a yr or so.Check it out !

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

If I had it my way, stupidity would be painful!
Any one year tyoe coin can be graded with no date as long as the remaining detail is able to distinguish it from multi-year types.
<< <i>I think it might be slabbable. On the reverse picture it looks like you can make out the top left corner of the Liberty Bell's support beam. That would be enough to determine the year. >>
Yes, but is there enough of the mintmark left to identify it as Denver vs. San Francisco?
