Which price guide do you guys think has the more accurate price listings?
Using the 2005 Krause vs. the 2004 Spinks I found a $659.00 difference between the 2 for for a 1902 to 1953 UK minor type set.

Victorian pennies, gothic florins and Edward VII large silver (shilling and up) seem to be the exception - they fetch Spink-like prices even on ebay. I can't say that for much else.
By the way, cosmic, UNC prices in Spink are for BU specimens, at least for the copper and bronze pieces. Those prices are still much higher that other British catalogues that have BU pricing.
P.S. I finally got around to imaging my UK Type set. ( I may sell it )

Available on predecimal.com, covers George III-present.
Covers all coinage, British and Irish. I used amazon to get this one. Vera Trinder might sell it as well.
I certainly agree with these but I think you could add certain Wreath Crown and George V Florin/Halfcrown dates to the list. And oddly, many of the very illusive Proof issues from 1887 forward are not aggressively priced in Spink (or most other catalogs, for that matter). I'll take all the 1893 FDC Proof Halfcrowns I can find for 125 Pound apiece!
Having the Spink catalog in addition to the current Krause just helps bring the overall market trends into focus a little better.
