Need your help please

I was looking in a old silverware draw that had not been opened in over three years when I came upon this piece that I had put away several years before. I know a lot of you can tell from a picture if somethig is AT or NT so I thought I would ask for your help with this one. If real this could end up being one of my sexier pieces

  • I don't think your dinner guests would appreciate the monster toning as much as Morgan collectors!! image

    I think its natural
  • DO NOT USE DIP ON THIS. Fine silver should only be cleaned with silver polish and elbo greese--although it won't certify again!!

  • It would either be body-bagged or net graded for cleaning, depending on the service you use. (Service...*snicker*) That type of coloration is due to the use of either a rouge cloth or some other micro-abrasive polishing compound. The fine, fine scratches lend themselves to a more rapid oxidation of the silver.

    That spoon handle is micro-whizzed.

    Sorry dude.

I find those beauties every year about those time - something to do with company coming for Thanksgiving dinner and getting out the good silver - and EVERY year I've got to clean those beauties - every darn one of them - breaks my heart - but I was thinking maybe jeweluster next year - less hairlines - know what I mean? imageimage
